ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION

INSTALLATION SHORTAGE

For years we have known about and experienced the effects of the shortage of floor covering installers in the Chicagoland area. The issue has been acknowledged by Tom Jennings of the World Floor Covering Association (WFCA) as well as Mike Rowe of Dirty Jobs fame.

Your Chicago Floorcovering Association is committed to developing a plan to solve this industry issue. It will require pooling the knowledge and expertise of our Chicagoland floor covering retailers, distributors, manufacturers, contractors, and installers, as well as legislators, educators and others. We are organizing such a task force and the first step is this Round Table Discussion.

We need your ideas, insights and suggestions. We are stronger together and we urge you to attend this round table discussion.
